When it comes to the scent, it is definitely in line with the other Vince Camuto parfum and is very sweet. This one however stands out from the others with the major notes of bergamot as well as some very strong notes of vanilla. It is a little bit synthetic and powdery after a while but still very pleasant. The longevity is also quite good and it lasted all day on the skin.
Overall, this is a pretty nice fragrance which gets a good 4 stars rating in my book.

The official Vince Camuto site doesn't provide much info. on what this is all about ... vanilla and bergamot are the two notes they list. I compare the vanilla in this to the overly sweet synthetic vanilla you'd find in a cheap candle. I don't really get the Bergamot, which is a green Italian orange which seems to be more popular in men's colognes and has a strong citrus peel scent. Instead, vanilla and flowers ... gardenia, rose and magnolia are sloppily blended into the faux-vanilla scent to create a floral sweet bomb fragrance which will enter the room before you do ... and leave much after.
Each perfume starts off with a top note, then a middle note and dries down to a basenote. Honestly, this is pretty mono-directional in that it doesn't change much as the perfume dries down. What you smell at the start (sweet floral) is what you well smell throughout wearing this. The first few minutes is like smelling rose-scented cotton candy. Think of a floral car airfreshener or cheap candle ... then it dries down a bit and the sugary/vanilla moves more into overwhelming floral notes.
This is a limited edition 10th anniversary perfume from the Vince Camuto line. Keep in mind that Vince Camuto was the founder of 9 West and made his mark designing women's footwear. He was an expert at inexpensive fashion marketing as luxury goods and helped Jessica Simpson create one of the first billion-dollar celebrity fashion brands. Camuto passed away in 2015 but the inspiration for his brand is mass produced Italian luxury. The ingredients used in his scents are usually chosen to invoke some type of Italian theme.
My best guess is that this is Venice Italy's Carnivale. The bottle is pretty stunning from a looks standpoint. The gold topper has a very ornate design, something you'd expect to see on an ornate fence ... or on a Carnivale mask. The clear bottle is accented with pink and red floral designs and the box also has that motif. Add a pink ribbon and this bottle would look stunning on a shelf.
It seems some enjoy the scent ... we did not. It was too cloyingly sweet and the synthetic vanilla and floral notes completely masked the bergamot. If you like sweeter perfumes, this might be okay for you. It's strong ... the scent lasted 6+ hours ... and it does project quite well. I could smell it several feet away. If you want to make a statement and get noticed for your scent, this is not a light 'barely there' perfume. It's aggressive and announces your presence.
Our favourite scents for her are: Ralph Lauren's Orange Blossom or a lot of the Dyptique scents or Penhalligans. So, you can see that most of those are not on the sweet side, which is why we may not have loved this. It is 3.4 ounces but you could do better for $70-$90 with a better made 1.7 ounce perfume of higher quality.
